haunted land report
comes from a twenty-one year old employed male recounting a ghost story
his mother had shared. It is from the Cady
township in St. Croix county. It was not a one time occurrence, there were
unexplainable noises, and the area does have a history. Here are the
mother told me a story about 15 years ago about a time she was deer
hunting on my grandparents land near wilson. she told she
was in the woods and began to hear what sounded like to her children
crying. she searched thru the woods and found no one or any sign of
anyone else in the woods. my mother told me a story her father told
her, who was born near wilson in 1910,a story or legend or even
possibly a myth of an indian
war that occured (sp. occurred) in that area a long time ago, and it is
possible my mother
