Angels Are Waiting For You
It was the year of 1995 when the most touching moment of my life happened.
My husband (Randy) and I just recently bought our home in West Allis, Wisconsin. We purchased
a large home with four bedrooms. A great neighborhood for children, with a school just down the
street.
Shortly after the decorating and the excitement with our new home I became pregnant. Randy
and I were very happy with this news. We had plenty of room for a new baby. I was very excited
about picking out things for our baby, looking at magazines and going shopping, buying here and
there.
I was in my third month and I started having complications, I became very sick. I was diagnosed
with Placenta Previa. This is the second time I have had this disorder, the first time was in
1991 when we lost our baby girl in my 5th month of pregnancy.
I was very frightened when I heard this and knew what to expect from before. And in my 5th
month of pregnancy we had lost another child, our baby boy.
I was completely devastated. I wanted so bad to hold my child that my body had recently given
birth to. I couldn't eat, sleep or do anything that made me happy. All I did was cry.
Randy was very worried about me. He said that "I have to eat." I refused. He said things like,
"this happened for a reason. If it was meant to be, it would of happened." I was angered by his
comment and was angry at everyone.
Five days had past and I still wouldn't eat and couldn't sleep. It was about 3:00 am, and it
was completely dark. I was sitting in the living room by myself crying. Asking God, "Why? Why?"
I apologized to my babies thinking that I may have caused this to happen.
I looked up and saw a light and nothing else. I heard a very clear voice, a man's voice,
saying "Don't worry my child, you have angels waiting for you in heaven."
I must have fallen asleep on the couch. When I awoke, Randy was sitting next to me in the
morning. "How are you doing?" he asked.
I replied, "I am starving."
And I really never knew if this was a dream or if this really happened. However, the peace and
comfort, knowing my children were ANGELS was all I needed.
